Houston hail damage

Houston hail or wind damage? Stop the leak today.

Houston storms bring hail, high wind and heavy rain together, and Gulf humidity turns a small leak into mold fast. We tarp or shrink wrap your roof quickly, document the damage for your claim, and repair or replace it with GAF Master Elite certified crews.

What hail damage looks like

Hail and wind damage often hide until the next rain.

Spring storms across Harris and Fort Bend counties can drop hail, lift shingles and loosen flashing in the same afternoon. In Houston heat and humidity, water that gets in spreads quickly. These are the signs we look for on every Houston inspection.

  • Dark spots or bruises where granules were knocked off shingles
  • Dented gutters, downspouts, vents and metal flashing
  • Cracked or split shingles and broken ridge caps
  • Granules piling up at the bottom of downspouts
  • Dings on window screens, AC units and fences
  • New ceiling stains or attic leaks after the storm

Right after the storm

Three things to do first.

  1. 1

    Stop the water

If the roof is leaking, call us for emergency tarping or shrink wrap. Keep the receipt, because protecting the home from more damage is part of most policies.

  2. 2

    Note the storm date

Write down the date and take ground level photos of dented gutters, screens and hail on the lawn. Stay off the roof and let us handle that part.

  3. 3

    Free inspection first

We inspect every slope and document each hit with dated photos, then tell you plainly whether you have a claim, a simple repair, or nothing to worry about.

Fast leak protection

Emergency tarping, roof wrap and shrink wrap keep rain out until repairs begin. Keep the receipt, because protecting the home is part of most policies.

Water and mold awareness

We check attics, decking and ceilings for wet insulation and early mold so hidden water damage is documented with the roof claim.

Hail and wind documented apart

Some homes carry separate wind coverage. We document hail impacts and wind damage separately so each part of your claim has its own evidence.

Insurance claim specialists

If the adjuster says minor damage, our photo report shows the full picture.

Our HAAG certified inspectors and Xactimate certified estimators give you an itemized scope, not a number on a sheet of paper. We meet your adjuster on the roof and compare their estimate line by line. We are not public adjusters, and under Texas House Bill 2102 no roofer may pay, waive or rebate your deductible. We follow the law fully.
